Poko operates differently than a traditional startup. We are an open-source collective. There are no strict hours, no office politics, and no corporate bureaucracy. We just love building cool, useful things for the macOS ecosystem.

We currently do not have any full-time salaried positions available. The core Poko app is maintained by volunteers and the community.

Become a Contributor

The best way to join the team is to start contributing to the codebase! We are actively looking for:

Swift/macOS Engineers: Help us optimize battery usage and improve the notch overlay mechanics.
React/Next.js Developers: Help us build out this landing page, the docs, and the Pro dashboard.
Illustrators & Animators: Create new sprite sheets for upcoming premium characters.
Translators: Add support for Japanese, Spanish, French, and more.
